Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The Product Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of our products by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing & Trading, this individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand market needs, identify opportunities, and create compelling product marketing strategies and marketing activations that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and support the retention of Findmypast.
  • Collaborate with product, design, engineering, content and marketing teams to gather insights and develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases.
  • Work with user testing, market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends, and leverage findings to inform marketing strategies.
  • Create high-impact product led marketing activity to be executed across various channels, such as digital advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the wider growth marketing, engagement and brand teams to optimise marketing channels with product marketing, such as PPC, SEO, social media advertising, and content marketing, to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, analyse campaign performance, and provide actionable insights to improve future initiatives.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and influencers to amplify marketing reach and maximise promotional opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to continuously improve product marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Champion the Findmypast brand and values, ensuring consistency in messaging and positioning across all marketing communications.

Experience:

  • Experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or consumer services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and storytelling.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for genealogy, history, or family heritage is a plus.

Findmypast is a remote-first organisation with office hubs in London and Dundee.
