Job Description

The Retention team plays a vital role in the subscriber management system, deploying initiatives that will help subscribers remain within our businesses. Sitting within the Audience Management team, the role will work closely with the Engagement, Product and Customer Contact teams to design processes where customers can stay as subscribers, and ultimately improve retention of our subscription businesses.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver, support, and monitor subscriber retention activities.
  • Report on volume of renewals, cancellations, churn and retention.
  • Report on and understand and the reasons for subscriber churn.
  • Innovate, implement and assist with initiatives and interventions aimed at countering churn and improving retention.
  • Contribute to product development to deliver improvements that will increase subscriber retention.
  • Aid and support our Contact Centre to successfully manage and retain our subscribers.
  • Collate, translate and share feedback from the Contact Centre to improve all functions of the subscription journey.
  • Assist in training and informing Contact Centre on product, content, performance and initiatives.
  • Forecast customer activity based on sales, content, and product changes, to ensure high levels of customer service can be provided to subscribers.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work in a target based environment and motivated to hit and exceed targets
  • Be a clear communicator and enjoy working with multiple teams from Tech, Contact Centres, and Engagement to deliver optimal results for the business
  • Interested in consumer media and have a foundational understanding of marketing, publishing or strategy
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret data and create actionable outcomes from it
  • A desire to delight customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications, especially Excel
