We have a fantastic opportunity for an entry level Account Manager to join our successful Scottish magazines sales team to generate high end advertising for our Living Magazine throughout Scotland.

This is an entry level sales role, although previous sales experience is preferred, we will teach everything you need to know about our brand and how we sell. What you will bring is the motivation to succeed with an enthusiasm and commitment to learn. Key Responsibilities

The role requires you to work to defined KPI’s, canvass and sell to clients by both telephone and in person with the key objective being to maintain, grow and source clients with advertising requirements.

We are looking for enthusiastic, driven and possess a strategic mindset where you are not afraid to think outside of the box and push the norms.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • This sales role would suit someone looking to either gain entry into the sales profession or appeal to someone with a proven track record in any sales environment. If you have previous experience in customer service, retail, beauty, hospitality or events this could be the next step in your career you are looking for.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence and capability to cold call over the telephone is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • A desire to learn new multimedia products and develop new competencies/abilities.
  • A competitive and resilient mindset with the determination to succeed in a commercial environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 35 hours per week. This role will initially be office based from our Dundee (Meadowside) location and will move a hybrid working model as and when full sales training has been successfully delivered.
