Five Roberts digital radios to be won
DIGITAL radios are all the rage these days — and we’re giving away five Roberts DAB radios in this week’s
competition.
With scores of digital stations now broadcasting,
you’ll never be short of something to listen to!
As well as all the BBC stations, there are lots of other digital broadcasters specialising in classical, jazz, rock and sports programmes, not to mention ones dedicated to rolling news, comedy and drama. There’s even one devoted to traffic news!
The prize radio, the Roberts RD-50 Revival, uses the latest digital technology to bring you crystal clear sound.
But it’s designed in retro style and looks just like a stylish radio from the 1950s.
It also has a rewind function, enabling you to listen again to the past few minutes as well as a record and pause facility.
Its LCD display means it’s easy to check what you’re listening to and, because it automatically tunes itself, there’s no need to spend lots of time painstakingly finding the station you want.
As well as receiving digital broadcasts this great radio also picks up traditional FM transmissions — this is handy as digital reception can vary depending on where you live.
And the RD-50 can use either mains or battery-power so it’s ideal for listening to wherever you are in the house or garden.
All in all it’s a class product — not surprisingly, perhaps, as Roberts are providers of radio to none other than the Queen!
These radios are on sale for £150 but we’ve a total of five to give away, one to each winner.
