There’s a Robot
calling your family
THERE ARE still some tickets available for the Scottish premiere of the new animated movie
Robots, from which all proceeds raised are going to CHAS.
The movie, with the voices of superstars Halle Berry, Mel Brooks, Robin Williams and long-term CHAS supporter Ewan McGregor, will first be screened at Edinburgh’s Vue cinema next Sunday, March 6.
It is set in a world populated entirely by robots and tells the story of a young genius named Rodney (voiced by Ewan) who wants to build robots capable of making the world a better place.
There will be 300 seats available to the public, costing £5 for children, £10 for adults. Family tickets for two adults and two children will be £25.
Doors open at 4 pm with, hopefully, everyone seated by 4.30 in time for a charity auction.
Vue Cinema general manager Craig Simmons is hoping the studio will supply memorabilia signed by the likes of Ewan, Halle, Robin and Mel, as well as more film memorabilia and other donated items.
Every penny from the admission fees and the auction will go to CHAS.
Call 0131 557 3906 for tickets.
