Help us to help them

Who’s that eating the baked tattie?

When Jack and Bridget McConnell first went to Rachel House in March, they did so with the slight wariness that most first-time visitors have.
It’s a mixture of not knowing what to expect and fearing a depressing place.
Of course, they soon found it was anything but and the proof was in the relaxed manner of their return.
Not just in the ease with which Mr and Mrs McConnell chatted to children, families and staff but the fact that Bridget slipped in unannounced and was tucking into a baked potato and a cup of tea before most people even knew she was there!

It’s Jack’s turn to take the floor.

Bridget and Charlene’s family look on as
the two orators compare notes on the finer
points of public speaking.
