Police don dancing shoes for CHAS

STRATHCLYDE POLICE Highland Association danced the nights away to raise £750 for our hospice appeal. The group held roughly one ceilidh a month from September to March in Lochinch Police Club, Pollok Country Park, writes Murray Scougall.
President Ian McLaren said, “We usually get about 50 people coming to the ceilidhs and we always have a great time. Although we’re a police organisation, anyone is welcome.
“After reading in The Sunday Post about the need for a second hospice we decided to donate some of the money raised.”
