Big hearts at Tynecastle
As the picture of Crieff’s most famous son, who has starred as Obi-Wan Kenobi in two
Star Wars movies, went under the hammer, you can imagine the women in the room all wishing, “Oh, be MY one, Kenobi”!
In the end the hammer came down on the prized mug shot at £100, sold to an anonymous fan.
More money was raised with a raffle, with wheelchair-bound Robert Ness, who
attends Rachel House, opening the proceedings by picking the first ticket.
Organiser Janet Purdie from Bathgate said the evening, which attracted 260 people, was a great success and assured us everyone had a fantastic night raising money for our campaign. |
