The Courier has always been an important part of the communities it serves.
The paper has championed many campaigns including the Fight for Fife and From Dundee and Proud of it. Currently, it strongly supports moves to upgrade the A9 and the creation of a new secondary school in North east Fife.
The Courier has also organised a prestigious debating competition in the area's secondary schools for a number of years.
